Tennenbaums is a great movie. Loved it when it first came out and still watch it every so often.
I totally get why you put **The Royal Tenenbaums** on top—it has the best emotional core, hands down. But I'm going to risk your eternal wrath and say **Rushmore** is the one that truly changed the game. Also, hard agree on the **Grand Budapest Hotel** people. They are a different breed. 😉
