It cant find things unless you choose weird settings, and even then you cant find things you know exist

It's actually propagation and shadowbanning problems.
If you nadar your posts, you might find as I did that they are reaching maybe 5% of existing relays!

It really is not. I have been primarily trying to use Primal for months on desktop and mobile. There are multiple issues making it not serve everyday use. I often go to other apps to try and get other results. Each app fails to find some things, fails to return anything at all sometimes, and requires tricks to work at all.
It probably isnt just a primal issue, could be data propagation, etc.
But sincerely, it is far from solid for someone trying to use it daily.
Here is mine. It shows only posts made from that account, note the 7month gap.
That post i replied to today, shown at the top of the screenshot, from bfgreen, i could not find it searching 3 different nostr apps

Right, but it is a generic search from the Primal app i have on this phone. Not a profile search.
If i pull it up on desktop it is just broken a different way anyway

You can search efficiently on pubky... because there are only 200 total posts.

You can't search on Pubky at all right now!
But you can filter the graph by keys and tags :)
Still learning a bit about the differences. Got a video on DHT queued up for future viewing. Tagging is cool for sure.
