Don’t let boomers tell you that this generation doesn’t want to work. Many boomers also did not want to work in an era when the economy was strong.

TLDR: Labor unions in the 1930s violently took over factories and forced the owners to pay them more. Unemployment was 14% at the time! The jobs didn’t require technical skills and were easy to replace. Clearly there were plenty of people that could fill in the jobs if the violent unions didn’t take over.

Boomers were just as entitled as they claim the current generation is. Hindsight bias is easy to destroy with actual historical evidence. Don’t let the crybaby boomers gaslight you.

An epic Twitter thread exists of articles going all the way back to the ~mid 1800’s with the “nobody wants to work anymore” trope. It’s such a trite, retarded line used by the parasite class.
