Similar note- I’m trying to build a backcountry meal plan that replaces the standard items like dehydrated meals pumped full of preservatives. They have to be packaged with weight and size in mind. I pack them into gallon day bags and then carry 1 bag per day that I plan on staying out. I’m carrying it in one pack(along with hunting gear) so this is why weight and size are important factors.
