So this is the tradition which happens twice a year, right? This one is the cows coming down from the mountains in the fall, right? Then they go back up again in the spring?
Yes. However, the ascent is not as well celebrated as the descent. We do have another tradition called Chalandamarz (first of March) to welcome the new season.
