“Bitcoin culture” will disappear as its use becomes commonplace.

Bitcoin isn’t a lifestyle, a club, or a code of ethics.

It is open source software anyone can use.

Enjoy the niche times, they won’t last.

I think the name will change not the behavior - we should call it freedom culture

💯

We'll just have a lot more sub cultures.

Imagine a future where there are no bitcoin conferences *gasp* 😱

Nah

Ok, imagine a future where there are no bitcoin podcasts *gasp* 😱

I host one lol

I never plan on quitting lol

Just haven’t done a new episode in a while

Life’s been crazy

Bitcoin podcasts are dead. I don't make the rules 🤷

Nah

Yeah brah

utopia

A 100%.

Not just that, when it becomes common, other investments will begin to look more appealing again, and people will start to drop it in favor of other investments.

It’s not like we won’t have factories in the future.

My lifestyle wouldn't have been possible without Bitcoin so in one way it is THE lifestyle.

💯 I’m with this culture for life

He’s crazy lol

I disagree

Yes we are early

But it definitely is culture

It brings together meetups

Nostr events

I met my best friend irl through Nostr

We are on the right side of history and it’s bringing together like minded individuals

I wholeheartedly disagree with your entire note here

The clubs and meetups and relationships being built now will last a lifetime

I don’t think bitcoin culture will disappear at all

I think your 100 wrong on this issue…

The 757 bitcoin club is a culture that won’t disappear….

Bitcoin is a lifestyle

Tons of clubs that will never fade out

They may evolve into privacy groups or freedom groups or a nostr code of ethics

lol

i hope the best people in bitcoin keep maturing & growing.

and i hope everyone around the world follow, learn, mature and grow too.

I'm sorry, but this is defeatist.

The more we make Bitcoin culture last, the higher chance we give Bitcoin of succeeding

It can perfectly be both, just than majority of people won’t care much for the culture and that’s fine as long as they find value on the asset and/or BTC as money

Worldwide, it's still not mainstream:

"long way to go, and this is a good thing, makes it easier to accumulate Bitcoin😁"

Winning is a bitch

🎯 . It must not last if we want Bitcoin to succeed and be the base layer of the new financial system.

Couldn’t agree more. I appreciate those standing up for Bitcoin ideologically, but money that doesnt steal from you is not an idea we can or should contain to ourselves.

👍

Monetary instruments, including bitcoin, are a completely fake construct designed to steal your labor. The more you know 🌈

That's what I think should happen. Bitcoin should be as much of an afterthought as using apple pay to get your coffee. That's how you know it is mainstream. NOSTR will also have to shift, until it feels like a peaceful version of X (without the algos or censorship) where you can also send Bitcoin Lightning to people.
