The gym is a laboratory for life. Every workout is a microcosm of every challenge you’ll face. The discipline to show up when you don’t feel like it, the grit to push through discomfort, these aren’t just fitness skills, they’re life skills.

In a world of participation trophies, physical training remains brutally honest feedback about who you really are versus who you think you are.

Stop outsourcing your mental strength to comfort. Your potential is calling from the other side of exhaustion.

Respect. I also go to the gym and see it the same way life lessons in every workout.

Winning the mental battle in the gym is as important as the physical improvements. Anybody can go in the gym and dink around and not get shit done. But to go in there and push yourself to failure is the victory. It’s a win against your weaker self.
