Frequent effort > infrequent annihilation.

β€œBro splits” reflect drugged up bodybuilding pharmacology, not human physiology. Your body thrives on frequent, smartly modulated movements, especially your legs. They're not just a muscle group; they’re your foundation, your hormone pump, your primal engine.

Your legs are the engine. Everything else is just accessories.

Interesting 🧐 I’ll look now. Thank you πŸ™

Lifted weights in high school 🏫 ( and was one of the few girls ) & loved it so much.

The quote : I remembered correctly but didn’t attribute it correctly. Thought it was Lombardi and not Wooden.

"Be more concerned with

your character than your

reputation because your

character is what you

really are, while your

reputation is merely

what others think you

are."

- John Wooden

Below is notes πŸ“ for me.

Never heard of that term. Are you talking about people who use steroids or some level of enhanced testosterone or something?

Yes. I’m referring to anabolic steroids and PEDs that became standard in bodybuilding. Those drugs enable the once a week recovery that β€œbro splits” require. Natural lifters need higher frequency because we don’t have that enhanced recovery capacity.

That makes a **LOT** of sense to me. But I’ve been all natural as much as possible for years.

Granted though like I didn’t know it when I was younger, but my body always made more testosterone than other women so I think maybe that’s why I was such a good athlete for being born a female. Never did a study but almost always placed first and beat most men during runs.

Beyond that even though I turned 18 im basic training they had made me a squad leader & def kept it longest in my platoon if not company. #Sexism didnt occur to me then. Full transparency: It didn’t occur to me that some men were making fun of me by saying β€œLead from the front” as far as making fun of my large chest until

Another woman told me … I was late 30s by then. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Actually there is a very good reason for Bitcoin-backed banks to exist, issuing

their own digital cash currency, redeemable for bitcoins. Bitcoin itsel cannot scale to have everv sinale financial transaction in the word be broadcast to evervone and ncluded n the block chain. There needs to be f secondary level of payment systems which is lighter weight and more efficient. Likewise, the time needed for Bitcoin transactions to finalize will be impractical for medium to large value purchases.

Bitcoin backed banks will solve these problems. They can work like banks did before nationalization of currency.

Different banks can have different policies, some more aggressive, some more conservative. Some would be fractional reserve while others may be 100% Bitcoin backed. Interest rates may vary. Cash from some banks may trade at a discount to that from others.

George Selgin has worked out the theory of competitive free banking in detail, and he argues that such a system would be stable, inflation resistant anc self-regulating.

I believe this will be the ultimate fate of Bitcoin, to be the "high-powered money" that serves as a reserve currency for banks that issue their own digital

casn. Most bitcoln transactions will occur Derween banks, to secue neu transters. Bitcoin transactions by private individuals will be as rare as... well, a Bitcoin based purchases are today.
