November 10 comes around, when #square POS merchants can accept bitcoin payments, here’s the plan assuming most merchants won’t know the feature (assuming you are on speaking terms with the owner):

When buying whatever, try to pay with bitcoin as if it’s normal. When they say they don’t accept #bitcoin, walk them through how to turn it on (educate yourself beforehand,) and turn it on for them. Then pay.

If they refuse, depending on your relationship with the owner, maybe walk away without buying anything.

Now get out there!

But walk away politely. “Oh shoot. I don’t have any fiat loaded to my account right now.”

We’ll be able to use any lightning payment method right?

I believe so

I’m stoked.

Same. I bought a square terminal so I can see how it works on November 10

Thank you!—If the square UX is good it will be a big deal, as no merchant will want to be left behind competitors.
