People are here for years opening new anon accounts and some are trying to convince me stuff won't be horribly abused on open protocol ... apparently open protocol.... ah well... lets see how this plays out for everyone and the future of nostr. Interesting times ahead... ✨️🥳😎✨️

Setting up new keypairs is a bad thing? How so?
You can use some for testing, posting different types of content. Obviously some do it for scammy reasons. Usually they’re easy to recognize
Its easily manipulated... the new security filtering. Open as much as you want i dont hold you but I know how it implies to the possible reach. Isolation and reach will not be fair.
What’s easily manipulated? When you make a new keypair, technically they have no reach. Except if you announce them from the previous keypair. So you’re relying on your previous reputation
The system... if you hold 5 accounts and they all muted me... my note is not going to be visible to followers of your 5 npubs and your 5 npubs. Which isnt first of all fair at all and its a kind of censorship because those people should decide if they want to see the note of mine and not your 5 npubs.
This is going to cause manipulations se as the trust scores can be easily manipulated...

Only if you follow all 5 of my accounts AND if you have the security filters turned on on amethyst. You can turn off the security filters or use another client

And creating 5+ keypairs, growing their reputations, just to censor someone else is a lot of effort for nothing. You can always create a new keypair to circumvent that too

Thats why even the first idea was just implemented in my own account. As you see I post eerie pics art art i gather ... I know myself. I love my one account i post what I like, say what I like... I would forget on the other account for days. Im just not a content creator kinda person. Thats what you have to be a constant content creator for 2 accounts?! Nah thank you... 🤣 too much for me to handle.
Greentext pulls content from r/greentext on Reddit. It checks every 5-10mins. My other account I post music there whenever I feel like it, instead of flooding this one. Main one is this one obviously. I post 10x more on this one. I just do it for fun. When it’s not, I’ll stop the other ones.

I can’t help but agree, but I also think it should just be easy to only follow the ones you can #verify.
“Censorship Resistance” is cool and all, until the bots start farming and swarming Nostr.
The question is, what do you want to see? Nostr should have all the different “layers” from 4chanstr to fluffy #petsr.
