YouTube is apparently using algorithms to guess people's ages for the new age verification stuff. I've seen people there speculating on how it's gonna turn out.
They could flag everyone as underage to make everyone turn over an ID/credit card. They could also flag basically no one so they don't interrupt people watching ads, and blame the AI for not following regulations.

As rule of thumbs , the people already given up their ID when they signed up for Google in which you tube is one of service , and when you subscribe to content creators they all-ready registered your card payment .
So this age verification is so silly….
The people who have card payment is already authorised by the bank to have their card .. and most baby age 3 -5 years can not have this CC.
So this is really stupidity coming from bureaucracy that overreach KYC requirements.
