The president of the socialist government of Spain says that the right of inheritance must be removed so that children cannot inherit their parents' home.

You'll own nothing and be happy. Build Back Bollocks.
Fun fact, Sweden, one of the most socialist countries in Europe, actually abolished inheritance taxation by unanimous vote in 2004
Do better, socialist Spain, you're more than 20 years behind

You'll own nothing and be happy. While eating ze bugs...
España yéndose a la mierda mas rápido de lo que puedes decir zap!
Step 1: Ensure that there's a massive, young, often foreign, working and underclass, that owns little or no property, but does your dirty work and finances your retirement.
Step 2: Propertyless classes become bitter and unruly, so you placate them, by giving them the vote and expanding their political representation.
Step 3: They vote to take away your property.
Step 4: 😠Whine about socialism.
That makes total sense, first they separated rich and poor and now they're playing them off against each other
The wealthy did this to themselves, IMO. You could see it here, with the Willkommenskultur preaching that the refugees and other migrants would save the retirement and health care systems with their contributions, and do all the jobs they didn't want to do because ewww real work.
They wanted slaves, and now there's a slave uprising, and they're like, but not like that, tho.
Everyone was literally on TV like, This is going to be so great because they're all young and healthy and they can come here and make up for the children we never had (children who would have inherited property, and would therefore be less-inclined to confiscate property). *everybody clap*
This is just the end game of everyone trying to get something for nothing.
you can make unpopular jobs popular by paying them appropriately
No, you actually cannot because wages are tied to the incomes and living costs of the customers. The closer the work is to the end consumer, the stickier the wages.
That is why plumbers don't get paid an ever-increasing amount, due to their scarcity: there is an upper-limit to what the average person can pay for their efforts.
The reason rich people's jobs pay more is because the customers of their efforts are more liquid, due to the size of the customer (government, international firms, etc.) or the market that their customer is in (luxury goods, fancy hotels, etc.).
You can be closer or further away from the money faucet, depending upon who pays for your work.
That's why the woman with a ph.D. in gender studies working as a diversity officer for a big company makes €150k, but the plumber she has to wait 2 weeks for an appointment with, earns €50k.
There is no direct link between the usefulness or necessity of effort and the amount paid for that effort.
my favorite examples are nurses and kindergarten teachers
Never enough of them, and everyone's life is disrupted by the shortage, yet their wages are surprisingly sticky.
It's because their wages are paid for by municipalities. People who work for the German federal government, filling in spreadsheets with ideas for paving bike paths in Peru, get paid twice what they make because the federal government can afford to pay their people twice as much.
It is, what it is. Workers can also be cantillionaires.
🤣🤣🤣
Government!
🤣🤣🤣
There is a lot of this going on in various forms around Europe.
insane
At this point, why do we need governments, and if we don't, when are we going to start ignoring them and peacefully start doing our own thing, regardless of "their" rules?
I understand that the #bitcoin standard is the direction that we are heading towards, but at some point do we not also have to cut the cord from that with which we have all been shakle to?
I do not claim to have any answers. All I know is that I'm not here to fix this world. I'm here to create a new one...
I do not speak Spanish. So where do they suggest the assets should then go if not passed on? 🤔🫣
The idea of non inheritance is as bad as unrealized capital gains tax. Disgusting. 🤬
Wait. How's that social??
Step 1: Build economy on tourism based on perfect climate
Step 2: Join the EU
Step 3: EU citizens buy Spain's best properties
Step 4: No brainer housing shortage
Step 5: Clown world
It’s so funny because they always say „housing shortage“ etc. but the truth is the EU has made it almost impossible to build and construct nowadays, all these regulations and what not. Cost to build/meter has also increased dramatically due to their money printing, but the problem is the guy that inherits a house? Imagine the tax they have already collected over the years from this house, the land it’s been build on, not to mention the money it was constructed with was tax as well. All this was not enough. lol
And the next Spanis govt will be also socialist or things are turning to the right again?
The Spanish Government isn't socialist, and the party from the president and himself are socialists only in name. In fact they are neo-liberal, as is the opponent party. They both are indebted to the banks and the few billionaire families who have the actual power in the country.
Fortunately, the system isn't bipartisan anymore, as it was for the first 40+ years since the dictator died. The current government doesn't have enough seats in the parliament to govern alone, and needs to find alliances for every decision they take, thanks to that, they take some timid progressive measures, even when the president and his party don't want to.
They'll come for your KYC Bitcoin next.
Only then will you all see the value of private wealth (Monero).
Hot potato 'wealth' with unlimited supply cap, regular hardforks, possible inflation bugs. Have fun staying poor and getting delisted from all exchanges.

"Some folks inherit a house and then invest all their money into studying and business.. HOW DARE THEY?
We will make sure nobody can be well off and everyone has to go from zero to zero point one in their life."
This targets the old money in Catalunya.
Free Catalunya.
"You'll own nothing and be happy"
Thanks. I had no idea Spain was so close to full on communism!
The hamster wheel just keeps on spinning faster. The matrix is fucking real.
