This is happening very intentionally in the industry and there are label(s) who will go to great lengths to retaliate against anyone that makes waves. I am two degrees away from one of the people named in this video and much of this is true.
Bro about two years ago now discovered the artist / producer BUSBEE who wrote so much great music for others and had just made one solo album. I got so ticked after realizing the playlist I was listening to was in memoriam of and he had died of brain cancer..
He had just signed a global distribution deal for his solo work with warner music. Whatever it is with music and the deals people make or do not make, it really takes its toll on the good ones.
Its hard on the good ones because the industry often rewards bad behavior (or at best turns a blind eye)
Things like this must be called out as evil but we can't expect it to disappear. The truth may be powerful enough but people are not going to like it.
Truth alone is no where near powerful enough
