For those homeschooling, are you using any paid curriculum for rambunctious kindergarten/1st grade aged boys?

We have a very hard time getting him interested in studying, so trying to find fun ways to get him going.

Strong preference on minimal screen time required.

Are you trying to find government accredited curriculum? If not, what is he interested in?

No, I’m just trying to find lesson plans we could follow. Neither my wife or I have any background in education, so we don’t really know where to start.

The biggest thing is he needs to learn to read and do basic math. He can count, and knows his letters and their sounds. So just needs to get to the next level.

What about teaching in nature or how environment. Getting creative. If he's playing with blocks, take a few a way, add a few, etc. I feel like identifying what his mind gravitate towards and focusing on developing those skills. But I here what you're saying. Lots of reading with him. Get home to finish the sentences of familiar books, etc. I can ask around
