775205 - as a teenager i got into comics, Wolverine and #Batman. In one #Wolverine comic #Sabertooth was captured and put behind a force field cage. He kept trying to force his face through the field and was knocked back each time. Wolverine didn't understand why Sabertooth kept trying. Until Wolverine was watching the news, on the news was a case of police brutality, and the news anchor kept saying that the suspect, who had also caged a real wolverine, had desensitised themselves to pain. It's something that comes to mind often when i feel i'm being erased from existence by microwave weapons:
