Love the device but I’m not very happy with their comms over all.
Android 16 is about to be released and they’re still stuck on Android 13.
No news about their Sol:OS 1.0 release that was supposedly to launch “early 2025”.
No one knows which Android version their Sol:OS 1.0 is supposed to be based on.
Last Android update shipped in December 2024.
Both orange keys are still useless a year after they released DC-1.
Privacy Policy situation is still unclear.
Their nostr presence doesn’t feel authentic.
The price was steep before they got hit by the tarrifs as well.
I hope they’ll make it but without some serious investment in software and better, more open communications, I’m not very hopeful for their future.
