Many people think that NOSTR is just a BITCOIN SOCIAL NETWORK. There are many other things in NOSTR.
Today i were see a recipes profile with good things.

I don't think WhatsApp counts as social so I guess I'm only on nostr. Sometimes I install Instagram and throw one picture over there once in a while besides that #onlyNostr .

You might want to search the hashtags of things you're interested in and look at the accounts that are posting and replying there. Dunbar's number (150) is a good start for how many people to follow for a diverse feed

I'm really trying to use Nostr less tho. Traditional social media < Nostr < minimal Nostr.
Quite frequently do I use it, since even Twitter is starting to become a no-go for me.
Mastadon and BlueSky can go flip themselves.

Since I joined
Because many people canβt properly set up Global and donβt pay attention to hashtags, Iβm noticing more and more that users here are basically just talking to themselves β especially the Japanese. They just use Nostr to dump their posts, while they actually interact and consume content on Instagram and Twitter. Some people even post screenshots of things they read on Twitter like itβs the main feature. And of course, some people are too shy to block βBitcoinβ and βGM,β turning their Nostr experience into a real nightmare π
