Humidity distributes moisture evenly thru the pods and coma inside. 4 hours in the sunshine then into a refrigerator to seal in the moisture before cleaning the seeds.
Discussion
Within three days the seeds get removed from the pods to dry on baking sheets. Drying takes about two weeks. Then the seed can be packed and saved.
