Got an automatic standing desk and a Steelcase Gesture from a previous employer who paid for it. I barely use the standing desk but I’m glad I have it when necessary. Good for opening up hardware, changing my watches’ bracelets and all that. For some reason I prefer doing that stuff while standing. The chair is just indestructible and comfy, no idea if it was advertised as being ergonomic, couldn’t care less, it was just an option from a dropdown and didn’t cost me a thing. I see several gaming chairs outside whenever public trash removal rides around to collect bulky stuff so my suspicion that they’re all mostly low quality China imports is at least partially confirmed. Never dug into them though, always smelled fishy.
