Man, this is really great. It's an audio adaptation of the Spiritual Opsec Guide and I thoroughly enjoyed it, even if it’s not what people were expecting.

The guide itself lays out so much foundational material for Muslims who want to think seriously about the future in how to navigate it, how to hold fast to our tradition, and somehow at the same time, how to look forward with a kind of Islamic futurology/accelerationism

And as for the audio, yeah some might say it’s cringe or awkward or whatever. But tbh that’s what makes it good. It sounds cool, it doesn’t try to be overly serious and it doesn’t impose itself. It’s probably not gonna reach the youth or go viral, but that’s not the point. I think it does a good job of capturing the weird, quirky, anonymous, edgy spirit of SAIF perfectly.

But different is the point. Anonymity is the point. That strangeness is the point!

Anyway, just give it a listen. I don’t even know what point I’m trying to make here except that I loved it. nostr:note1htts6ffg9c9kze70faaxjqc70myh5czk42aj3l03kcva6ws7hx4s7zjft5
