Bitchat uses short lived nostr events (kind 20000) for the global public chat. This app only shows those from some popular relays.

Nice, will check it later. I think we need to add some persistence. Then the search will make more sense.
Not sure if applesauce db cache (https://hzrd149.github.io/applesauce/tutorial/05-loaders.html#cache-configuration) or something custom would be better, since we are dealing with ephemeral events.
For sure! I think in terms of a user experience it would be nice to be able to search "party" and filter down to a city/country. You know the codebase better than me so you probably can find a nice way to plug it into what you already have ;)

Hi, would it be possible to introduce user-defined filters? A simple user and/or phrase block to get rid of the notorious spammers from the overview? Like the semicolon guy for example.
