What to do in RIGA đŸ‡±đŸ‡»

If you’re coming to Baltic Honeybadger and have some spare time, here are my recommendations. 🏰 🌳 ☕

Part 1: City center & parks

Riga is a beautiful historic city - and bonus, it’s not huge. You can see the old town, chill in a few parks, and hit some cute little cafĂ©s all in a single day.

There are a bunch of nice parks right in the middle of the town, but if you’ve got some time or you’re the person who enjoys nature more than the city, MeĆŸaparks is the ultimate chill spot.

If the weather’s decent, you can swim in the lake around the park. You can rent a bike or rollerblades to explore the park, and paddleboard or pedal boat to cruise the lake.

MeĆŸaparks will take around 15-20 mins from the city center by public transport.

If you’re looking for drinks and a good vibe, head to Tallinas Ielas Kvartāls - a hip, slightly chaotic mix of bars, food spots, and random cool stuff.

For something more romantic, check out Parunāsim kafe’teeka, located in a former church complex in the city center. This cafĂ© feels like it was pulled straight out of Hogsmeade.

Highly recommended if you’re traveling with your partner.
