The best thing about bitcoin tho is, if people try to steal the POW of others they will lose their market share over time. Eventually leading to a collapse of the individual or the company. Bitcoin allows for an actual free market to tale place. So it's not only the fastest way to corruption but also the fastest way to ruin, that's my uneducated understanding...
