๐Ÿš€ Just launched a new dashboard that compares Bitcoin DCA vs Lump Sum strategy which then outputs a CAGR spread. ๐Ÿ“ˆ

You can tweak the timeframe, investment amount, and DCA frequency to see which strategy performs better.

Check it out: https://btcframe.com/cagr-spread/

Would love any feedback to make it better. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿค™

This is really cool!

Very cool. How about those vs buying >5% dips?

very minor UX but some padding at the bottom just to make sure it feels like you can't scroll lower or are not missing anything.

DCA FTW ๐Ÿ’ช

are you assuming I have the full sum at the start and am either lump sum or dca buying?

If so, depending on the time frame, you might need to factor inflation into the DCA time frame.

For example, say I had 100k cash in 2020 and assume a 5 year time frame for the dca model. There was around 20-30% inflation. That's a significant cost for holding the lump sum that probably should be factored into the dca model.

Good feedback. I'll consider the inflation factor and make adjustments accordingly.

Hi bro ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‰๐ŸคŸ This is a fantastic tool! The ability to compare DCA vs Lump Sum with adjustable parameters is super helpful for understanding long-term Bitcoin investment strategies. Itโ€™d be interesting to see if you could also add a feature that incorporates volatility or market cycles into the analysis helping users account for the ups and downs in the market. But overall, this is a great resource for anyone looking to optimize their Bitcoin investment strategy. Keep up the great work!

I have used DCA at various times, with some short and some longer duration time periods . It would be nice if you could set a start and end date at any time in the past and have it calculate and graph that particular periodโ€ฆ

Custom date range option is a great idea!

Similar to this maybe.

Already released a custom date option yesterday. If you could clear your browser's cache, you'll be able to see the changes.

I'm stuck with just phone at the moment

This dashboard is mobile friendly.

got really confused at first...

I set the drop downs to what I thought was a 6 Year evaluation of a $200 weekly DCA...

Took me a while to realize that the total investment was $200 ... (312 weeks of $0.64 DCA... I think ... still not entirely sure)

Please make it clear what the weekly DCA amount is... based on the silly user's inputs

... And consider allowing my mental approach... $200 per week for 6 years = $200 x 6 x 52 = 62,400 total investment (calculate the total investment and use the weekly DCA s the base case... toggle swtich between the two approaches?)

Good feedback! I just changed the field label to Total Investment ($).

This is very cool and a good way to see the importance of getting off zero!
