It’s also my anecdotal experience that seed oils make it very hard for your body to process alcohol

When I quit eating seed oils my hangovers went away, long before I quit drinking altogether

Make sense. Fiat ruins everything. It’s always a race to the bottom.

Hmmm, may be true about chemicals etc

But I know a ton of younger folks who aren’t even trying a drop of alcohol. They’re smoking pot, or even occasional hard drugs/pills

Or just straight edge.

Yeah I think Covid fucked up a lot of kids potential drinking habits

True true.

Personally I LOVED drinking and glad I stopped when I was 27 😂

I make mead. I'm really worried about what might be in honey, and really want a way to test it. Also, i just read this and its related :

I wonder about this a lot. Especially honey from bees used to pollinate for hire.

Also would like to know nostr:npub153xmex42x4chdf757hp3q6zxagykkek7pdgwuwd074964dkyha9s82ryu8 opinion. Expect it’s true. Remember all those “studies” about price point not mattering past say $20-30? Maybe you weren’t just paying for taste at a higher price point? Hedonistic-hedonistic adjustments.

You trying to whitewash drinking? I mean, I love my booze but I'm under no illusion that it's good for me ever was. Man up and accept the consequences of your actions.

See, I left out the "or" between me and ever cause I'm drunk rn. And I know it's bad for me.

Well... I'm glad I don't drink due to the poisoning of alcoholic beverages.

I'll just stick with water, tea, coffee and refined sugar-free soda.

IIRC all the big brands of beer have measurable levels of glyphosate. I'll try to find some info.

In my experience, the US vs Prague beer is the same story as the US vs Italian pizza.

Local pub has always been the community glue. Of course they don't want us to hang out there with friends. Who would be scrolling the phones.

it's another pendulum imo. this gen has a bunch of pothead goons. the gen after will think its fake and gay and be social drinkers.

I barely drink any more, but I've noticed health in general play a role in how I bounce back. Lifting heavy things week after week, 10K steps/days, living on beef and loads of sunlight = less bad hangover

Don't you mean you barley drink anymore?? (I'm sorry I couldn't resist 😒)

alcohol is obviously poison that’s why people avoid it

Now-a-days, you can’t even drink your poison without someone poisoning it! 😂

Yooo

Short Answer is that Hangovers are a choice.

Conventional wisdom says that drinking alcohol = getting hungover, but there's clearly a lot more going on.

While I still might stay up too late and be tired the next day, hangovers with headaches just disappeared once I started drinking my own wine, but still exist when I drink straight whiskey, tequila or beer. I wasn't expecting this.

Glyphosate fucks you up and is used HEAVILY on all of Barley, Hops, Corn and Rice.

Eating Seed oils also amplifies hangovers by compounding inflammation, oxidative stress, and liver burden. Everyone is loaded up with these now.

I'm also fine when I drink French/Italian wine because they make wine more like I do.

So something is definitely in the alcohol and in the food and they compound on each other to make hangovers worse.

Simple fix is to stop drinking as much and people seem to be doing this. I'm happy to see it because I want healthy people in this world.

Here's a post I did comparing the affects of drinking Beer vs Wine

(If you're gonna drink, Red wine is easily the most healthy option)
