Lots of Israeli involvement in delivering weapons to the Hutu and once the genocide on 800.000 Tutsi (all Christians) was over, their cooperation intensified by Rwanda becoming a publicity puppet for Israel while buying lots of weapons and tech from them.

Both the Hutu and Tutsi are primarily Christian. The Hutu carried out their genocide primarily using machetes. They are the majority ethnic group. The Tutsi forces led by Kagame wrenched control with a dash of genocide of their own and not for the first time after starting the civil war 4 years earlier. This is an ethnic conflict of mostly central African DNA (Hutu) vs mostly east African DNA (Tutsi).
Israel doesn't care who killed Christians or if the Christians genocide each other. But it's true that it was mostly Christians doing the latter.
