Is just a way to get another type of verification/id. For instance you go to nostrplebs.com pick a name, pay an invoice and then you’ll get your NIP05 id same as I got mine. In Damus you don’t see it clearly but in other implementations it gives you a check mark type like verified blue or something

This is the repo I used in my case.. It was created by #[4] and it's very easy to configure

You can get your PubKey with some leading zeros or some vanity options

didn't read much about the two different key formats but I kinda like the one is default in damus with npub1 as it's very clear what is a private vs public key. In hex format without any specific encoding it's tricky to mix up pub/priv keys

it's an IOS problem. can't be stopped unless you uninstall all apps but the one you want. I think it dependes on which was the app you installed first or something like that

With getalby.com you get a signer extension in chrome and also a Lightning address. Best combo

With Damus you just need to paste any Lightning address

Good point.. I like channels though but may be that can be developed in a second round? Who knows.. you may attract other people this way. There is a channel bitcoin2140 in Spanish that has good activity
