Snort.social has the “dislike” reaction? “👎”. Is this a custom reaction enabled in Nostr?
For instance, when you like or “dislike”.. is it a special message type or it’s just another note that the client embeds as a reaction?
Is the share note button something that needs to be visible for every note in the feed in Damus or this is something that may best fit in the menu that pops up after long pressing the note with your finger?
Reason for that is because sharing a note outside Damus is something we do once in a while so instead of using that precious space and visual there you can still put it there in the long press selector that is very easy to access?

I used to have that at times and it was caused by the brb.io relay. So try disconnecting and see if that notification is gone .. or try with another relay until that diss appears

Steps to use Nos2x on iOS/iPadOS Orion Browser by Kagi:
1) Install Orion Browser by Kagi from App store (It's the only webkit browser right now on iOS that lets us install Firefox and Chrome extensions)
2) Launch the browser > Click on the settings button represented by three dots on the bottom right (...) of the browser navigation bar > Click Extensions
3) On the Extensions pop-up click 'Install Firefox Extension' or 'Install Chrome extension' > Search nos2x on the extension stores > Click add to Orion
4) After Nos2x is added > Click on settings button again (...) > You will see nos2x installed on top > Click on it > It'll take you to the nos2x options page.
5) Since no private key is setup yet, click on the 'options page' hyperlink on the nos2x extension page > Paste your 'hex' private key and tap anywhere out on the blank white page of the options page. It should save.
6) Click on the nos2x extension again from settings and you can see the public key is now displayed.
7) Open a new tab on the browser and visit https://snort.social or https://astral.ninja to login using the extension.
8) When you click login using extension you should see the nos2x page asking for your authorization to login > For this example I've clicked 'authorize forever'. You can choose the desirable options > Head back to snort.social or astral.ninja and you'll now be logged in.
9) Make a post. I have made a test post > It asks me to authorize signing of the event with your private key from the nos2x extension. Your private key is not shared with the website or store on the client > Authorize it.
10) Post successful!
Is that IOS? I don’t have the same screen. Nothing on the bottom other than the website address 🤷🏼♂️

I’m fine with my messages being lost overtime .. eventually there may be some paid relays that guarantee all your notes to be persistent but overall most of my notes are ok to be lost
Why sharing Damus Notes happens in Snort.social? Is this because Damus/web is no longer active?
Wondering if there would be one of those smart coders that can come up with a fork of ln.cash that just works for Nostr
