Are you a noStrudel and want to spice your post with emojis?

This "how to" tell you how.

First: You need to go to the Emoji section on the left of the page.

In there you will find 3 options

Find packs: This option let you find emojis pack from people you follow

Emoji pack manager: This option will take you to emojito.meme where you can find emoji packs done by other

users (you have to log in using your public key or with nostr extension). In the drop dow

option pick book mark and it will appear in your emoji section in noStrudel. (you need to

refresh the page).

Create emoji pack: Here you can create your emoji pack. (this tutorial is not for this option)

Second: Once you have the emoji pack in the Emoji section you can use the emojis in reactions (the little heart with the + side in the post window). Or you can use them typing a colon (:) following by the name of the emoji (an autocomplete option will appear).

And that's it. Now you can use emojis in your notes :justright:

Enjoy πŸ˜‰

Thank you Mikey I send a message to hzrd149. Who looks like is the developer of noStrudel. If he doesn't answer I will dm TheGrinder... I mean indeed is just caprice. I can live without emojis or use damus. But noStrudel caught my attention as daily client instead of using my phone (it is easier to post).

I can’t see it 😳

Did you post a how to or an emoji?

Does anyone have a "How to" for emojis in noStrudel?

Testing emojis...

I post quotes everyday. This kind of post are just to bring new users to Nostr and to bitcoin. I'm glad you like them πŸ˜‰

Nostr stands out as the best alternative for those championing freedom of speech due to its unique structure and principles. Here's why:

Decentralization: Unlike traditional social media platforms, Nostr is not controlled by a single entity or company. It's a protocol, which means it operates on a network where anyone can run a server (relay) or develop an app on top of it. This decentralization ensures there's no central point of failure or control, making censorship practically impossible. Without a CEO or board to answer to, there's no one to pressure for content removal or account bans.

Censorship Resistance: With Nostr, your content is distributed across multiple relays. If one relay decides not to host your content due to policy or preference, you can always connect to others. This means even if some relays engage in censorship, your message can still be broadcast through the network, preserving your right to free expression.

Privacy and Security: Users on Nostr have control over their own identities through cryptographic key pairs similar to those used in cryptocurrencies. Your "account" is your public key, which you can share, while your private key, akin to a password, is yours alone. This setup ensures that your speech cannot be tied to your real-world identity unless you choose to reveal it, providing a layer of anonymity that traditional platforms struggle to offer.

Freedom from Algorithmic Manipulation: Nostr does not employ algorithms to dictate what content you see, unlike many social platforms that can skew visibility or suppress posts based on their policies or external pressures. Here, your content's reach depends solely on who follows you and the relays you connect with, not on algorithmic decisions or commercial interests.

Community and Culture: Nostr fosters a culture of freedom, creativity, and self-expression. It's a space where users are encouraged to be themselves without fear of repercussions from a platform's oversight. The community norms, like the tradition of morning greetings, reflect a supportive environment where diverse voices can thrive. Posts found on X highlight Nostr as a place where the content and network effects are in the open domain, not controlled by any single application.

In essence, Nostr isn't just another social media platform; it's a protocol that empowers users with control over their speech, privacy, and the content they consume. For those who believe in the sanctity of free speech, Nostr represents a beacon of hope in an increasingly centralized digital landscape.

Gm Everyone 😊

I hope you have a great Sunday πŸ˜‰

Hey everyone! 🌟 Let's talk about Bitcoin.

You've probably heard the term Bitcoin thrown around, but what exactly is it?

Bitcoin is digital money. Think of it like the internet version of gold - but instead of physical bars, it's all in code. Here's the breakdown:

Decentralized: Unlike traditional money, Bitcoin isn't controlled by banks or governments. It runs on a network of computers all over the world, making it free from any single point of control or failure.

Limited Supply: There will only ever be 21 million bitcoins. This scarcity is built into its code, much like gold's scarcity in the earth. This makes Bitcoin a potential hedge against inflation.

Secure: Bitcoin transactions are secured by cryptography (hence the name from "crypto" and "currency") and recorded on a public ledger called the blockchain. This makes it incredibly difficult to counterfeit or double-spend.

Accessible: Anyone with an internet connection can use Bitcoin. You don't need a bank account; just a wallet (which can be an app on your phone or computer).

Transparent yet Private: Transactions are public, but the identities behind them are pseudonymous. You're identified by your wallet address, not your name.

Investment & Use: People buy Bitcoin as an investment, hoping its value increases. But it's also used for direct transactions - from buying coffee to paying for services online.

Why Should You Care?

Financial Freedom: Bitcoin gives you control over your money. No one can freeze your funds, and you can send or receive money globally with just an internet connection.

Innovation: It's the foundation of a new financial system where you can participate in a global economy without intermediaries.

Learning Opportunity: Understanding Bitcoin can give you insights into technology, economics, and the future of money.

Getting Started:

Educate Yourself: Start with resources like the Bitcoin whitepaper, podcasts, or community meetups.

Get a Wallet: Download a Bitcoin wallet to safely store your bitcoins.

Buy Some: Use an exchange or buy directly from someone you trust.

Remember, Bitcoin is still new and evolving. It has its risks, but it's also opened up possibilities we're only beginning to explore.

Join the conversation, ask questions, and maybe even become part of this financial revolution!

To go wrong in one's own way is better than to go right in someone else's.

β€œYou were born with potential.

You were born with goodness and trust. You were born with ideals and dreams. You were born with greatness.

You were born with wings.

You are not meant for crawling, so don't.

You have wings.

Learn to use them and fly.”

― Rumi

β€œImpossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

― Muhammad Ali

Gm everyone. Have a nice Saturday πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

Love all, trust a few,

Do wrong to none: be able for thine enemy

Rather in power than use; and keep thy friend

Under thy own life's key: be check'd for silence,

But never tax'd for speech.
