So, not only is Nostr decentralized and ⚡️-enabled, it is now functionally working better than twitter for multiple key parts of my posting routine.
Sending tweets never used to simply "fail" like this. Now it happens all the time.

TLDR?
If you're saving your money in U.S. Dollars, you are:
a) Willfully subjecting yourself to guaranteed debasement, as the government has no choice but to inflate the shit out of it to pay off the debt bomb they've created
b) Betting that other countries will just sit back and be USA's cuck forever, when there are alternative options they can switch to at any time
Not a great bet IMO.

2 problems I keep running into on Nostr--if anyone has solutions, it'd be greatly appreciated. (I'm on Amethyst for android)
1. Tagging never works. When I try to tag people in Notes, their name doesn't pop up. Even when I copy/paste the exact @, it still doesn't "find" the person and pop their name up like on twitter.
2. Link problems. For example, on a recent Note, I wanted to include a link to a twitter thread people could follow for more elaboration. But after posting the Note, the link wasn't clickable.
Are there solutions to these issues I'm not seeing, is it a client (Amethyst) problem, or are these universal issues for people during this growing-pains period?

Experience new things. Make new friends. Propagate your unique energy with as many people on this earth as you can, and open yourself to as many others as you can as well.
Once you do this, and persevere through the inevitable trials and tribulations along the way, you will find the purpose you are searching for.
And as a bonus byproduct, you will emerge light-years more prepared to build a legacy around this purpose, which will long outlive your floppy meat-suit.
When you're at the top of the social hierarchy, nothing insulates your status more than mass confusion, instability, and infighting among the poors.
When they're distracted by bullshit, they aren't revolting against your ass. It's that simple.
Now let's say you have a magical money-printer, allowing you to funnel infinite funding into anything you want.
This is why it's not an exaggeration to say: basically everything we've been told by our politicians, magazines, and TVs is the complete opposite of the truth. It's all a show to keep the peasants stuck on a hamster wheel of nonsense, so the gravy train of fiat funny money continues to roll
