There's a devil-spawned weed in my backyard. I pull it out, try to find the taproot, pull it too, but it's vexing. At each joint it roots. Despite my plucking, it always returns.
Today, it occurred to me it's a distributed network with no central point of failure. It unstoppable.

It occurred to me today that if and when #bitcoin hits an ATH, every single person who has hodled will be in the black, above water. Everyone.
Of course, some will have bought and sold etc. and may be in the red, but no one who hodled will be red. Every hodler will be up. Nice thought.

This morning I snapped this quick photo. For some reason, I liked the trapezoid shapes and strong lines made by the power lines. Looking closely, Venus is in the middle. My astronomy app labeled it as Venus but apparently Mars is right behind it (invisible in the pic) but lined up very closely. Kind of neat.

Sitting in the "cell phone lot" at the airport awaiting an arrival. A buddy is coming in. π Cell phine lots are the most convenient thing since the bread slicer (back in the 1920s, i think).
Although I'm only in a parking lot, airports are one of the best places to people watch. Such a wide variety of the human experience, often exagerated...lovers reuniting, or leaving, bereaved attending or returning from funerals, grandparents visiting grandkids, college k8ds returning home, folks leaving on a vacation or returning exhausted, business folk on a boring commute, it's endless.

In 2017 I suggested "Satoshi Day" - that great day when 1 sat reaches penny parity. Yes, I know, no one here says they care about fiat money. But the truth is, that's a major measuring stick.
Back in 2017, one penny got you 110 sats. Today, one penny only buys you a smidge over 19 sats. We'll get to one penny = one sat. "Satoshi Day!"
