I've been thinking about RCS in terms of "game theory". If some percentage of the population is using RCS, that's more likely to _decrease_ the likelihood of them installing Signal in order to get the features that SMS doesn't have, because RCS chat already has them. Could refusing to use RCS be a means to push Signal adoption?
I still wouldn't trust RCS, it will most likely leak metadata to your the cell service provider. Have you tried installing Signal?

It doesn't matter what side of the political spectrum, there are some on the fringes who will never be happy unless they are tearing those who they perceive to be "the other" down. Fuck those people.
