Instead of 27 teams in the MLS and a completely separate lower league in the USL, just make a combined relegation system and relegate the bottom 3 teams to even it out to 24 #soccer #mls #usl #grownostr
Say it’s the retirement league without saying it the retirement league 😂😂

Btw #[1] you’re a jerk for lighting a fire under my ass to grow my own food and more importantly to “just grow a tomato first”.
My first #containergarden ! Feels like the first big steps towards my homestead goals. I may rent and I may live in the city but that’s not stopping me!
Thanks to my lovely gf for starting the plants from seed. #grownostr #gardening

Part 6 of my #Pride #vexillology series: Asexual
Designed in 2010, this flag was selected by contest to represent people who are not sexually attracted to anyone, namely, Asexual people.
To quote the site LGBTQnation, “Asexual people are often misconstrued as celibate. However, celibate people voluntarily abstain from sex and usually do so for religious reasons. Asexual people, on the other hand, have an intrinsic lack of sexual attraction or desire for other people. This makes asexuality a sexual orientation much in the same way that being gay, lesbian, or bisexual is a sexual orientation.”

Part 5 of my #Pride #vexillology series: Pansexual
Created in 2010, the pansexual pride flag is used to represent individuals who use the more specific term “pansexual” to describe their sexuality, rather than the general term “bisexual”.
While bisexuality is a broad term for attraction to those of one’s own gender as well as at least one other, pansexuality is attraction to all genders.
In my personal experience, second to the simple rainbow, this is the pride flag I see the most in everyday life #grownostr #TIL
Thinking about using the abundance of volunteer maple trees and English Ivy growing next to my house to feed my worms when I get them. Is a leaf based diet good for them? Getting veggie scraps to supplement #vermiculture #newbie
Are dried linden leaves good for worms?
Part 4c of my #Pride #vexillology series:
The “sunset” lesbian flag
This is, in my experience, by far the most commonly used lesbian flag today. Introduced in 2018 to include all lesbians, this flag breaks the pink-blue cis gender binary scheme to include all women outside of that binary as well as create a flag that cis-gendered women can related to rather than feeling like one needs to choose either the “butch” or “lipstick” flags specifically. Many lesbians have chosen to fly this flag proudly. I have personally seen it on porches, businesses, at Pride festivals, and even in sticker form on cars and bikes. #grownostr #TIL
Part 4b of my #Pride #vexillology series:
The “lipstick lesbian” and pink flags
The lipstick lesbian flag was introduced in 2010 to represent homosexual women who have a more feminine gender expression, as compared to “butch” lesbians, however it has not been widely adopted.
The all pink lesbian flag was derived from the lipstick lesbian flag but with the kiss mark removed. Personally, I have only seen the lipstick flag displayed at Pride festivals, while I have seen the pink flag used more commonly. #grownostr #TIL

Part 4a of my #Pride #vexillology series: The original lesbian flag, now more widely used as “butch” lesbian flag.
The labrys lesbian flag was created in 1999 and features a labrys, a type of double-headed axe, superimposed on the inverted black triangle, set against a violet background. The labrys was a weapon used by the Amazons of mythology. In the 1970s it was adopted as a symbol of empowerment by the lesbian feminist community. Women considered asocial by Nazi Germany for not conforming to the Nazi ideal of a woman, which included homosexual females, were condemned to concentration camps and wore an inverted black triangle badge to identify them. The color violet became associated with lesbians via the poetry of Sappho.
In recent years, since the introduction of the “lipstick lesbian” and “sunset” flags, the labrys flag has been more widely used to represent the “butch” lesbian community in order to differentiate themselves from the “lipstick” lesbian community. #grownostr #TIL

Part 3 of my #Pride #vexillology series: Gay Men
A relatively new flag, the gay men’s pride flag was designed in 2019 to be a specific symbol of gay men. From my research, the original design only included various shades of blue, but after pushback from the community that it was not inclusive of and representative of gay men outside the cis-gender binary, some of the blue was changed to green.
In my personal experience, I have not seen this flag used much outside of Pride Festival. All the gay men I know and meet use the simple 6 color rainbow flag, but with that flag representing all LGBTQ+ individuals, I think it’s great to have a more specific flag for gay men.
He’s not the first to make a move like this. Will the middle eastern leagues be able to do this enough to actually build up powerful programs? #soccer #grownostr
