The conjecture immediately following the aftermath was that #Jan6 was a plot to essentially kidnap #MikePence and force him to accept alternate slates of electors. But in the years following the evidence that this was the case has sort of dried up, the #FBI theory has been making a lot more sense to me at this point given the whole situation with #RayEpps and the fact that the #ProudBoys was involved since the leader they had at the time was a fed.
