What truly gets you a vote on the Bitcoin network is a miner, not a Bitcoin node.

A lot of people probably know Bernoulli's principle and how airplanes get off the ground by fast moving air resulting in a pressure difference causing a lift, this doesn't mean you're qualified in having a say on airplane wing design. Same with Bitcoin, you probably aren't qualified enough to having a say in a softfork getting merged.

Imagine how broken fiat system must be that a random coin on the internet made by a random dude is about to hit $100k in 15 years.

Real men play video games.

The problem with switching to Linux from Mac is that, there is always 1 app or feature that you love more than your woman and only works on Mac and Windows and you miss it so much that you hate your life.

This 98k is playing with my emotions.

I've setup a windows machine today after like 7 years and the setup process is like a massive advertising campaign.

- 4 different things to sell and each one pops up in a separate screen.

- every single advertising and telemetry setting you have to OPT OUT!!

- mandatory sign in to Microsoft to use the machine.

Windows can get away with all this shit because Macs are expensive and Linux has poor laptop/desktop choices unless you boot from USB and GNOME still sucks after all these years!

The left had a meltdown and moved over there to cry.

If illegal immigrants are deported we are going to have a massive Uber eats and doordash problem. Andrew (Jose) won't be there deliver your food anymore.

By the end of this decade, people will start to realize Bitcoin is just for Michael Saylor, Blackrock, Governments and whoever got in early. You might not like it but this is the direction we heading right now.

A lot of this is true. Imo any open source project makes less progress without a leader, someone who steers the ship and has the final say. Bitcoin core is at a point where core devs just want to avoid all controversy and stay silent and let people fight out. We need more versions of core in other programming languages built from the ground up and implement all consensus rules similar to btcd. Bitcoin core needs more competing implementations where you have leaders who are willing to hit the merge button and publish a release with CTV for example so that people can run the fucking thing.

It is kinda wild that Bitcoin is casually just hovering around $90k. It feels like it wasn't that long ago that I watched it trade for a few hundred dollars. Time flies!

The one thing in life that I was consistently right about for several years in a row was to buy Bitcoin!

Bitcoin's market cap is like 60% of the total crypto industry's market cap. That is how far ahead it is over anything else out there. Imagine one company having 60% market cap of the entire S&P 500. That is Bitcoin.

There is literally no second best.

Anyome has data on coins available in major exchanges and the situation at OTC desks?
