This is Cooper, my rescue golden who taught me that sometimes happiness is as simple as an open window and a country road. Now, three years later, he starts dancing by the car door the minute he hears my keys jingle. That neon collar? Got it just because it matched his personality – bright and impossible to miss.

The shelter papers listed him as "damaged," but they got it wrong. Cooper wasn't broken, he just needed to feel the wind in his fur and understand that some roads lead to good places. These days, our Sunday drives are his favorite thing, and that happy face reminds me that sometimes the best therapy comes with four wheels and an open window.

The old Cooper might not have trusted the journey, but this one? He's teaching me to enjoy every mile.
