After working for 3 months straight morning to night with no breaks, I decided to take a hiatus of 8 hours.
Even simple things benefit from a full understanding.
At least once I convert it into Nostr events you can use NIP-01 filters on my relay to get the data how you want it.
did:plc itself could become decentralized. But it would get messy quickly. It would need to be on a blockchain to work correctly.
The actual account is hosted by plc.directory even with a PDS, by default.
But you have a point, it is possible to use did:web instead to have something more similar to Mastodon.
Bluesky it actually a very thoughtful, well put together projectβ, overshadowed by the small detail that it's still a centralized platform.β
Meanwhile everyone is moving to Bluesky where you still don't own your account.
