I have the PA subscription. Byome is my go-to for out the effects. Had a brief play on battalion, looks super cool. I’ve really been digging my Pockey Operator for drums lately, I used to spend hours on drums but my current mood is keeping drums simple and playing with analogue delays a lot. No doubt I’ll get to battalion those, the unfiltered audio stuff is wicked.
Creating noise music is my way of facing the darkness within, confronting the brutal depths of my soul, and embracing the shadows humanity fears to acknowledge.

I love the way you think! There are tons of other options for streaming sats besides Fountain at NudePodcastApps.com and when it comes to finding self-hosted music, I make most of my discoveries through LNBeats.com by hitting the DeMu button.
The decentralized musicians we feature are using the RSS protocol to self-host their albums and broadcast them out to all Podcasting 2.0 players. If you've got music of your own, there's a handy RSS feed template here: https://github.com/de-mu/demu-feed-template/blob/master/feed-with-comments.xml
All you need is a website to host that xml file, a wallet or node address to receive sats, and to upload the feed URL to the Podcast Index. If you ever want to give it a try and need help, let me know!

Has anyone here tried streaming for sats direct from their own website? Does a tool exist for such a thing? Streaming direct from my own domain would be perfect. The only babylon I'd have to deal with would be the hosting platform.
I know Fountain exists and I've messaged them, I'm looking to explore as many options as possible but please bare in mind, my experience is in music, not coding so I've only ever done basic command line stuff!
Finally had an idea about something I can do to earn a sat or two (thanks Duh Lorien)...
Music is FUCKING HARD but for nearly 30 years I've sustained myself in it... on the underground from DJ to engineer, programmer, writer and sometimes performer.
I've never been overground, I've never wanted to be overground and you've never heard of me but I've maintained myself.
Honestly though, these days I'm struggling In fact since 2008. My income peaked around then. That's what bought me here. I don't chat the corn but I've been around for a minute.
Most folks in btc seem pretty minted, finance heads, tech guys, entrepreneurs etc. which is cool, all power to you but it's not me.
AI is gonna rinse music so hard but I want to build a niche in being a human. AI art is fucking junk, derivative shite made for ad execs and people who like listening to Moby lol. Fuck that noise!

But, I'm fully, 100% cool with that. I'm here, I'm me. I don't need to call myself RegionalHodlXXL9000 and tell folks how they should live their lives while profiling funny eyes. We all know the deal with where the world is at. We got rinsed in 2008 and it never stopped.
I have tones of music to share, mixes, rare records, tapes etc. It'll range from Electronica, old Jungle, jazz, Hip Hop, Reggae, Dub, African, Middle Eastern, Prog Rock, Funk, Soul, stuff I've made, stuff I've engineered, things friends have made. A bit of history here and there.
30 years deep and apologetically me. It won't be to everyone's taste. It will be to mine, on the whim of whatever I'm feeling that day!
I'm a niche, within a niche, within a niche. Niche is cool. Niche is human. Fuck the killer robots with their space lasers and TV aerials channeling X bollocks and fuck the Greys in their gated community.
