circa 200/300 venezuelans cross the border into brazil everyday. last week, it peaked to 800. let them come. unfortunately, here, they only have as much freedom as possible within a life as miserable or more miserable than they used to have in venezuela. yesterday night, in manaus, amazonas, hundreds of them were dispersed through force by our military police. meanwhile, lula remains silent. although his special advisor for international affairs, celso amorim, currently at miraflores, said we "can't just go around claiming it was fraud or that everything is perfect. I'm not one to believe everything that is said, but I also won't jump to say it was fraud. it's a complex situation, and we want a democratic regime for venezuela in a peaceful manner. as far as I know, there hasn't been any major incident." war is peace.

Marzena Ablewska-Lech #artstr (cuz yeah)

call tarantino, we need another script

brazilian election ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have met hugo chavez in 2008. I was 26, almost 27, and still believed in the socialist utopia (although being an anarchist since ever). I was then organizing an event called "the future of democracy in latam" (lol), held in belém (amazon forrest), sponsored by state government, which gathered hundreds of local authorities from mexico to uruguay. governors, presidents, ministers, mayors, journalists and editors of le monde diplomatique from all over the world, bernard cassen and ignacio ramonet included. huge. it ended up being my first and only experience with the infamous foro de são paulo, next stop after the colloquium. I knew there was something wrong with chavez in the moment I threw my eyes on him. nothing compared to maduro, though. yesterday's fraud won't actually change the life of people from venezuela. it would if the results were different. all remains the same, the same shit for twenty years now. maduro is much more of a danger for the countries surrounding venezuela, something chavez wouldn't even consider at the time. maduro is willing to expand the bolivarian "republic". guyana is his first target. in order to get to guyana, though, he has to pass through brazil. army won't let him. lula will try to remain neutral and shall fall, dead or alive. if there was a conflict missing in latin america, there isn't anymore. another step towards world war III. rot in hell, dear hugo.

wind blew over my ears bout some people already working on it. I wouldn't mind if I had to shot him in the face, though. word is there will be war on the borders, indeed, as soon as he tries to invade guyana. protesting is worthless.

descansa. amanhã é outro dia, outra luta.
