The ostrich may bury its head in the sand, but it still needs its eyes and ears to survive

Do you mean in a simulator or as a Mac app? I thought Mac apps could only run on M1 chips?

When are you experiencing choppy scrolling? Is it inside of threads?

I’ve been on Damus so much that I thought this was a new branch being developed πŸ˜…

β€œShowing just the domain as an identifier

Clients may treat the identifier _@domain as the "root" identifier, and choose to display it as just the . For example, if Bob owns bob.com, he may not want an identifier like bob@bob.com as that is redundant. Instead, Bob can use the identifier _@bob.com and expect Nostr clients to show and treat that as just bob.com for all purposes.”

What would you add to your nostr.json if you put _@orangepill.dev as your verification?

Can someone help me with nip05 setup?

If I own the domain β€œbob.com” and put β€œ_@bob.com” for the verification field, what should nostr.json file look like?

β€œBob” : hex_pub_key?

The pfp frame is pretty small so the pixelation shouldn’t be noticeable. Good luck!

It’s animating for me. Try clearing cache if it’s not on your end

I don't think this is how it works. I set up a site association so any time iOS sees a https://damus.io/{npub,note}* click it should pass it to a handler within damus. Why some links don't obey this is still a mystery to me.

Deep/universal links have not worked on twitter for years. I think this is by design to keep you inside the app - opens inapp web browser instead.

It is 1MB uncompressed so there may be some discrepancy between the file size you see and what the app reports. Maybe the devs can add a file size indicator next to the image.
