1. Israeli Air Force responsible for overnight strikes on Iran-linked operatives in eastern Syria: The strikes in the Deir Ezzor and al-Bukamal area targeted assets belonging to Iran’s Unit 4000, the Special Operations Division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps’ Intelligence Organization, and the special operations unit of the IRGC’s Quds Force in Syria, known as Unit 18840, according to Israeli defense sources. The US has denied involvement in the strikes. (TimesOfIsrael)

2. Gaza aid drop in sea leads to drownings: Gaza’s Hamas-run government media office says 18 Palestinians have been killed while trying to collect desperately-needed aid that was airdropped over northern Gaza. Twelve people drowned when they went into the sea to retrieve food packages, the other six were trampled to death in “stampedes” when other aid packages landed on the ground, a statement said. The US says two C-17 aircraft dropped 46,000 "meals ready to eat" (MREs) over the north on Monday, while the UK says one of its A400M aircraft dropped 10 tonnes of water, rice, cooking oil, flour, tinned goods and baby formula. (BBC)

3. Japan approves plan to sell fighter jets to other nations in latest break from pacifist principles: Japan’s Cabinet on Tuesday approved a plan to sell future next-generation fighter jets that it’s developing with Britain and Italy to other countries. Japan has long restricted arms exports under the country’s pacifist constitution, but has rapidly taken steps to deregulate amid rising regional and global tensions, especially from nearby China. 1. Safety investigators to probe whether dirty fuel contributed to Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse: The lights on the Dali began to flicker about an hour into the ship's trip early Tuesday. A harbor pilot and assistant reported power issues and a loss of propulsion prior to the collision, according to a Coast Guard briefing report. The ship did not have enough time to drop anchors to stop drifting, according to the officer, and crew members issued a mayday call before the crash happened. One body of the six presumed dead workers on the bridge has been recovered. (Fox)

2. Gov. Youngkin Vetoes Virginia Democrats’ ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban: Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) vetoed Democrat lawmakers’ “assault weapons” ban on Tuesday, along with a number of other Democrat-backed gun controls. (Breitbart)

1. EU Anti-Money Laundering Laws Ban Provision of Services for Anonymous Cryptocurrency Accounts: A new set of anti-money laundering laws passed by the EU has banned crypto asset service providers from servicing and providing custody to anonymous cryptocurrency accounts. The approved proposal for the “prevention of the use of the financial system for the purposes of money laundering or terrorist financing” alleges these assets present “risks of misuse for criminal purposes.” (BitcoinCom)

According to blockchain researcher ZachXBT, the attack resulted in the disappearance of 17,400 ETH, worth $62.5 million. The developer responsible for the theft has since returned the funds without any conditions. (CoinPedia)

2. Hackers Are Targeting Bitcoin Hot Wallets—Here's How: The founder of the Ordinal Rugs project said hackers targeted members of the Bitcoin Rock Discord server on Tuesday, stealing $1.47 BTC, around $103,003, and 4 BTC, around $208,196, worth of Ordinal inscriptions from their wallet. (Decrypt)

Analyst Comments (AC): There is a lot of speculation concerning the container ship "Dali" running into the Francis Scott Key Bridge yesterday. The MSM has already said that speculation is dangerous (CNN), while Fox is hinting that 'dirty fuel' is the culprit. There are innumerable possible explanations for the incident, and it is prudent to not discard any of them. This could be an intentional act, an act of incompetence, or simply an accident beyond control. What is known are the facts of the crash and the consequences, which are significant. The infrastructure in the US has been host to an increase of safety incidents from planes falling apart, train derailments, and now a critical ship/bridge disaster. It is evident that if the US is being targeted via its infrastructure, it is not obviously attributable, meaning skillful actors. If the US is not being targeted, then incompetence in US government management has increased. Neither conclusion should be withheld from the populace that is subject to the dangers involved.

1. Israel cancels Washington visit after US allows UN Gaza ceasefire resolution to pass: Tensions between the United States and Israel were exposed on Monday when Washington stood aside and allowed the UN Security Council to pass a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The US decision to abstain on the vote prompted Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cancel a scheduled trip to the US by two of his top advisers, two Israeli officials said. (CNN)

2. Russia extends detention of US WSJ reporter Gershkovich: The Moscow City Court ordered on Tuesday that the 32-year-old Wall Street Journal reporter remain behind bars until June 30 as he awaits trial on espionage charges. The United States embassy slammed the decision, which ensures that the journalist will spend a year at least in prison, as evidence that Russia is “using American citizens as pawns to achieve political ends”. (AlJazerra) (AC-The timing of this announcement alludes to a probable response to perceived US involvement or at least covering of the Moscow terrorist attack over the weekend. Russia has shown a skillful practice of using international prisoners for bargaining chips in international relations.)

3. Fmr. Obama CIA Head: ‘Very Capable’ ISIS-K ‘Much Stronger’ Post-Afghanistan Withdrawal: Michael Morell who served as acting and Deputy Director of the CIA under President Barack Obama said that the ISIS-K terror group is “very capable” and “it’s safe to say that ISIS-K is today is much stronger than it was when we walked out of Afghanistan in [2021].” Morell continued that the group “is now, I think, the strongest ISIS group in the world. (Breitbart) (AC-Putting together the clues that lead to the Moscow Terror attack, this report draws attention. Why would the former CIA director under Obama come out now to talk up the capability of ISIS-K? Does this legitimize ISIS claims? Why him? Intelligence operations are subtle and nuanced, so asking "why" questions often lead to higher probable answers in this domain.)

1. Baltimore Key Bridge collapses after ship collision: Rescue workers in Baltimore are searching for as many as seven people after a major bridge in the city's port was struck by a container ship early Tuesday, officials said. Video shows the collapse of the 1.6-mile-long, four-lane bridge after it was hit by the vessel. The bridge extends over the Patapsco River and serves as the outermost crossing of the Baltimore harbor. It is an essential link of Interstate-695, or the Baltimore Beltway. (CNN)

1. Iceland's Prime Minister Vows to Prioritize Food Security Over Bitcoin: Iceland’s Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir has vowed to focus more power on producing food internally while reducing the energy expenditure in data centers and bitcoin mining. Jakobsdóttir stated that while the country was working to achieve carbon neutrality, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies were “not part of that mission.” (BitcoinCom)

1. Spot Bitcoin ETFs Already BlackRock & Fidelity’s Most Popular: Asset managers IBIT and FBTC Bitcoin ETFs account for more than half of their year-to-date flows. Blackrock noted that the product has “taken in double the inflows of their other 420 ETFs. As for Fidelity, BTC ETF accounts for “70% of Fidelity’s YTD flows and 5x more than any other of their ETFs.” (Watcher)

-Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC)-

1. SWIFT planning launch of new central bank digital currency platform in 12-24 months: The move, which would be one of the most significant yet for the nascent CBDC ecosystem given SWIFT's key role in global banking, is likely to be fine-tuned to when the first major ones are launched. Around 90% of the world's central banks are now exploring digital versions of their currencies. Most don't want to be left behind by bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but are grappling with technological complexities. (Reuters)

-Economic Indicators-

1. Treasury Yields Steady: The yield on the US 10-year Treasury note was around 4.24%, with traders awaiting further catalysts to assess the timing of the Fed's rate cuts. PCE inflation, which is the Fed's preferred inflation gauge, is due Friday. (TradingEconomics)

-Security Incidents and Concerns-

1. Millions of Americans caught up in Chinese hacking plot: The hack targeted US officials and the Justice Department, the FBI said on Monday. Seven Chinese nationals have been charged with enacting a widespread cyber-attack campaign that ran for 14 years. The hackers had targeted US and foreign critics of China, businesses, and politicians. The emails they are accused of sending targets often appeared to be from prominent news outlets or journalists, containing hidden tracking links. If a person opened the email sent to them, their information - including their location and IP addresses - would be sent to a server allegedly controlled by the seven defendants. (BBC)

1. Fear(0)/Greed(100) Index: 81/100 (Up 6 pts)

Analyst Comments (AC): The SWIFT announcement is important to nation-state governments' continued economic power in fiat currencies. With SWIFT building and launching a CBDC payments platform, it signals a new order in a world where CBDCs are key for cross-border payments, commercial payments, and global trade. This is where CBDCs will first become established before being pushed onto populations as a whole. The technical challenges at this level are easier than at population scales. What is interesting is how "pariah" states like BRICS will respond since they are often excluded from SWIFT. Will they adopt stronger systems like Bitcoin or build their own CBDC system in competition with SWIFT?

Replying to Avatar Stirling Forge

I worked for the state once. I was in the Air Force.

In 2012, They took my appendix when they didn't need to.

In 2016, they vaccine injured me with a round of shots my doc recommended. I got a letter in the mail saying it was a bad batch, but it was completely safe and I should come get another round. Nah, doc.

I got automimmune issues from that, and they worsened from the poisoned food. I left the military in 2017. The VA ignored me repeatedly because they don't believe in vaccine injuries.

I can't eat gluten, dairy, rice, or seed oils without heart palpitations and reactions that feel like im dying these days

Anyways, I began contracting for that same Air Force again in 2018. They tried to poke everyone again in 2020. I said no and I lost my job from saying no in December 2021. I haven't worked in 2.5 years.

This whole time I've been spending $900-1200 cuckbucks a month on meat and fruit alone to avoid inflammation and heal my body. All from my savings. I sold my house in late 2022 and my stack is down immensely in the last two years.

They poisoned me... They poisoned 19 out of 20 aisles of the grocery store for an autoimmune person like me. They poisoned my health. They've drained my wealth. They've taken my livelihood and my normalcy.

When I view the big picture, it all seems so deeply personal. They wanna ban and control meat consumption when it is my only food... They want to stop us from saving in Bitcoin when it has been my literal saving grace... They say they want to close the "escape hatches".

When I tell you that this is the hill I will die on, I fucking mean it. There is no choice for me anymore. I've crossed the Rubicon. I will live free or die.

We have an army of dudes behind us who feel the same way. DM us and #GetOnTheMission

Analyst Comments (AC): The big geopolitical news is the terrorist attack in Moscow. As media streamed video and pictures of the brazen attack, Russians and the world were shocked. The quick announcement by ISIS-K (?) for responsibility is suspect by Russians, while Russia's blame of Ukraine is suspect by the West. In the world of 5th Gen Warfare, it is difficult to ascertain facts and motives of this attack. What is known is that Putin now has a new dilemma on his hands. Does he wrap up operations in Ukraine to focus on ISIS? Ignore the attack for now? Or does he try to target both at the same time? Deeper questions remain, such as what is/was the role of the US in this situation? This certainly has hallmarks of intelligence-type operations, but the ambiguity of this world masks the potential instigators, which could range from ISIS, Ukraine, USA, Israel, to even Russia itself. The incident will certainly drive new geopolitical directions for Russian efforts and its relationships.

Analyst Comments (AC): Central banks worldwide are mostly holding interest rates steady, but signs of easing rates are beginning to appear. With the Swiss bank's drop in rates, among others, bankers are looking to stimulate economies again. The Keynesian game continues as it has for over 100 years, namely, controlling economies as desired by governments and debasing the savings of workers. From an economic standpoint, it seems that humanity is on the brink of paradigm shift as the new "digital property" of Bitcoin begins to offer savers a new option other than hard assets. The shift will take time and pain to accelerate it, and economic education will be necessary to help savers understand how to preserve the efforts of their work.
