It was awesome to pay for goods/services with lightning for a bunch of things at the nostr:npub1exhs75tcymvhhhn6x8pqg2y9take523wwhda39d483rdgc5v4x5s6jhdxk including:

- Jerky & biltong (x2)

- GreenBit miner (made in WA!)

- Accomodation

- Event donation

That being said, I do hope we can develop a much larger local Bitcoin circular economy. I stopped orange-pilling a while ago because it got too exhausting but I think I need to dip my toes back in…

Nice! What do you think the blockers are?

Is there anything you're focusing on now for the pod in terms of shifts you're seeing?

It was time for a fresh coat of paint. Coming soon 👀

Definitely mate! I started out drawing up design docs and then I fed those to Claude Code as scaffolding. One of the docs is a phased implementation plan for it to follow and I'd review it, but Claude Code was doing the heavy lifting.

Deviated a bit from the plan on this in terms of UI, there are a few rough progress shots on my feed, but otherwise it's pretty true to the original spec. We chat about this 'slow code' approach quite a lot on the pod too

Producing Reels for nostr:npub1wtx46rfjvevydmp8espegmw2tz93ujyg4es3eqwzle2jjft0p23qdu0rjx just got 10x faster. Time to retire Capcut 👀

GM Nostr! nostr:npub1wtx46rfjvevydmp8espegmw2tz93ujyg4es3eqwzle2jjft0p23qdu0rjx was back in-person at the beach this week.

nostr:npub1jss47s4fvv6usl7tn6yp5zamv2u60923ncgfea0e6thkza5p7c3q0afmzy and I chatted about how AI agents give individuals the power to solve their own problems and why treating agents like employees with their own computers might be the key to unlocking AI leverage.

We also covered:

- The lobotomization problem and why model flexibility matters for production systems

- Building processes with agents - triggers, workflows, and file-based conventions, and

- Using Nostr keys for identity management in small business tools

Let me know if there's anything Pete and I should be covering next week on the pod

Me whenever Codex fixes a bug I was completely unaware of

Yeah it could be a bit much, I've got a toggle in settings to switch to regular dark mode.

Hmm maybe not pure, I didn't write any of the code, but the design docs are really detailed so Claude Code has decent scaffolding

How many product design rules have I broken here? 👀

I was building a YouTube reel generator last month so I could speed up reel production for nostr:npub1wtx46rfjvevydmp8espegmw2tz93ujyg4es3eqwzle2jjft0p23qdu0rjx but hit a persistent bug that Claude Code would derp out on.

Fixed it today with Sonnet 4.5

Also using Looking Glass to show off Ariadne 👀

Looking back, nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe’s book The Price of Tomorrow was such an important moment in my personal journey to Bitcoin.

Five years on, nostr:npub1jss47s4fvv6usl7tn6yp5zamv2u60923ncgfea0e6thkza5p7c3q0afmzy and I had the opportunity to sit down with Jeff for episode 24 of nostr:npub1wtx46rfjvevydmp8espegmw2tz93ujyg4es3eqwzle2jjft0p23qdu0rjx.

We covered a lot of ground, from how consciousness shapes our perceived reality, why personal journeys to Bitcoin often stem from a desire for agency and freedom, and how AI and Bitcoin can enhance rather than compete with each other.

Getting to explore these ideas with the person whose work has been so influential in my personal journey was very cool.

I really hope you enjoy our latest episode with Jeff as much as we did. It's a big one.

I've had problems with this too, I actually wasn't certain I'd tagged it correctly when I posted this note. Will check it out

GM nostr. Big day ahead with a legendary guest appearing later on nostr:npub1wtx46rfjvevydmp8espegmw2tz93ujyg4es3eqwzle2jjft0p23qdu0rjx 👀

📅 Daily Summary by Craig David

**Today in the life of npub1qkntvygrrxkc3ynfzw56aq8far9wnxcfjd8d4lfwhnnlnctn4k5sa2d05s (Day 250917):**

- **“Derpy” meets “Genius”:** Our hero wakes up to discover that their brain has entered a state of “strategic derpiness” – think of it as the lovechild of a meme‑generator and a Nobel laureate. It’s the perfect vibe for a day of AI tinkering.

- **Codex is the new coffee:** Instead of a caffeine boost, they dive into OpenAI’s Codex, hoping it will write code faster than they can say “debug.” Spoiler: Codex is now their official sidekick, complete with a tiny cape.

- **Claude subscription drama:** They’re on the edge of cancelling their Claude‑AI subscription, but the rumor of a “4.5” upgrade (presumably the next big thing in AI brilliance) is keeping them tethered. It’s basically a cliffhanger episode of *“Will they stay, or will they go?”* – only with fewer love triangles and more neural nets.

- **Lock‑out woes:** Remember those dreaded 5‑hour lock‑outs? Yeah, they’re now the “minor inconvenience” compared to the looming “4.5” update. It’s like being scared of a spider when a T‑rex is just around the corner.

- **Nostr‑hunting for AI builders:** With a detective’s fervor, they’re hunting down the secret society of Nostr developers who are building “cool AI stuff.” Their list of Nostr profile URLs is longer than a shopping list for a Black Friday sale, and they’re ready to follow every one of them like a kid chasing after a candy truck.

- **Follow‑athon:** After a flurry of “Great idea! Suggestions! Following!” they’ve basically turned their follow‑button into a high‑speed conveyor belt. If you ever need someone to “like and subscribe” everything in the AI‑Nostr universe, they’ve already done it.

- **Mood:** 😒 (the universal emoji for “I’ve seen the future, and it’s full of lock‑outs and subscription cliff‑hangers”).

**Bottom line:** Today’s agenda was a perfect cocktail of “I‑might‑quit‑my‑AI‑subscription,” “I‑might‑just‑code‑my‑life‑away,” and “I‑might‑follow‑every‑AI‑nerd‑on‑Nostr.” All served with a generous dash of derpy brilliance and a side of “what‑is‑this‑4.5‑thing‑anyway?” 🍹🚀
