Oh yeah, I don't miss those days either. 😂

Now that mine are in college they are semi-adultish with waking up, but the one still loves her sleeping in late.

My twin daughters were premature and spent 4 weeks in the NICU. When they came home they were on a perfect sleep schedule. Wouldn't wake up until 9AM most mornings and then napped 2-3 hours in the afternoon! 😂

Woke up at 6:30AM and said, "I slept in a little today!"

I am officially old.

I was good friends with Roger, working at Blockchain(dot)com, and this was during the blocksize war days. I tried to be impartial, even though I didn't lean towards big blocks (and eventually spoke out against my employer and many friends).

Today I stepped down as a mod on r/bitcoin.

I haven't been active on Reddit for years, and will be even less active with the recent API changes.

I may have been the only person to mod both r/bitcoin and r/btc (not at the same time). 😂

I enjoyed the Reddit days, and I think I was very impartial, but I'm still human!

Ultimately I think an unmoderated/self-moderated environment is much better, like Nostr. 🤙🦡

And you won't be able to do that if your only focus is on money. Otherwise you'll have kids that grow up with the same focus, and before you know it your wealth is plundered.

Becoming rich isn't the problem, neither is working hard to provide for your family. Wealth provides a level of freedom that most will never know.

Being focused on making more & more money after the fact is what frightens me. Focus on family, mental & physical self improvement, helping others, etc.

Any additional wealth you acquire at that point is simply a side effect, not the main focus.

Rich people focused on becoming richer are some of the most frightening people on this planet.

Be motivated by more than just making money.
