Turns out Nostr DMs (shoutout NIP-17) are wrapped tighter than your grandma’s Christmas gifts:

🎁 First layer: gift-wrap (kind:1059)

✉️ Inside: sealed message (kind:13)

📝 Inside that: the actual thing you said (kind:14) [plain text]

🔐 Only the recipient can open the gift-wrap [with their priv-key]

So yeah… unless you also wrap a copy for yourself, you’re basically mailing someone a love letter and lighting your version on fire for privacy. hashtag Yay OpSec
