The simple fact that they can be ‘free’ of any one platform or app, massively outweighs the downsides, which will be addressed eventually.

I will likely have to reimplement in another language for an Android component but I am fine with that.
Cool. Likely I will run into problems with the libraries but that’s all part of the fun!
