💡The moment you grab the concept of what Bitcoin actually is, you'll lose your taste for all other forms of store of value and money.
In this video, @IIICapital carefully highlighted the core reasons why Bitcoin would eventually be valued beyond everything else in the world.
The two basic reasons are:
- No Counter Party Risk
- No Risk of Dilution
No counter-party risks simply mean that it doesn't rely on any government, individual, or a select group of individuals, or institutions to be valuable.
No dilution risks mean that we can never create more of it no matter how much energy we choose to expend trying to do so.
He explained further that an infinite amount of wealth cannot be fitted into gold and real estate because when we do, people can simply make a lot more of it and dilute the wealth stored, whereas we can store the entire wealth in the world in Bitcoin and it'd fit because there's no way more of it can ever be made.
He referred to Gold and real estate as "Melting Ice", albeit melting slower than other forms of assets, but they're still melting.
The crux of the matter is that "Bitcoin is a safe asset for the long-term preservation of wealth".
This above notion is the reason why we at African Bitcoiners have set a goal of helping 1 billion Africans to each hold a private key worth the least 1m Satoshis
