I hate government overreach and watching the empire I live in fall apart just as much as the next guy, but when examining the history of empires I have to wonder if this is the highest level of human civilization possible. We as collective humans are bound and constrained by our unwillingness to lay down our lives for each others benefits and the wealthier we seem to get the more difficult that seems to become. I wonder if humanity is on a Sisyphean journey with our only hope being to submit to King Jesus.

I have garlic in already, planted in October. I also picked up some chioggia beets to try.
I think I have all my crops picked out for this coming growing season. The only thing not on this list is seed potatoes. Anybody have any other recommendations of crops to grow on our homestead? We already have a bunch of flowers picked as well.
