Nostr is driving the adoption of Lightning, and as a result, Lightning wallet companies are innovating and developing tools to make Lightning more user-friendly and self-sovereign.

For example, nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 is building a Lightning wallet that we have wanted since Zaps launched in February. This wallet will make it easy for anyone to deploy their own Lightning node *and* receive Zaps directly to it. This was not previously possible for the majority of users. Zeus Pay will be one of the most important features of a Lightning wallet that we've seen recently. Onboarding to Nostr and Lightning will become incredibly easy, hassle-free, and, most importantly, users can self custody their bitcoin.

Zeus pay appears to be built on nostr… full circle, man

I was just thinking about making a bot like this earlier. It's really obvious in some clients like gossip and nostrudel.

nostr:npub108pv4cg5ag52nq082kd5leu9ffrn2gdg6g4xdwatn73y36uzplmq9uyev6 is this a standardized parameter? I saw it on nostr.band and <https://docs.nostr.wine/filter/readme> but I can't find any info or code for it in strfry or anything.

nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 is probably all "it's an acronym, why are you bozos pronouncing it like a word?!?!" πŸ˜‚

An acronym is pronounced like a word, by definition.

In case you missed it: gossip is now available from homebrew-core.

Check the updated readme for installation with homebrew on macos/linux or scoop on windows: <https://github.com/mikedilger/gossip#with-package-managers>

(Note that the homebrew formula is a binary only, no `.app` so you have to run it from the command line.)

Anyone else have issues with snort just randomly locking up all the time? I rarely use it because of this.
