Yup! Without funding, personal projects are completely passion driven. And burnout is a passion killer, so that just leaves discipline and routine to push forward in times when that passion wanes below 100 percent.

It's tough to find the time and mental energy to work on my own software project after working a full-time job... plus overtime... plus spending time with my spouse... plus spending time with pets... plus having a social life (kind of).

That's why I wake up a couple of hours before work everyday to try to sneak in a tiny bit of coding on my project.

I'm just hoping that tiny bit by bit will add up to something large 🤞
