I was asking the question :-)

Because in my "ancient word", when you liked a protocol, a software or anything, it was up to you to participate and offer to the community your work or hardware or servers. (kind of actual POW)

I ran Usenet server long time ago, participate in a Linux distro community giving a lot of time in advices and support to newbies.

But there was never any kind of "coin" return, or anything like "free sats". Only trolls to fight with...

It was maybe the problem, incentive... And I feel Nostr+lightning looks like a solution.
